How it works
The SWI-TEC stabilizer has the shape of a box with movable plates that is lowered into the water. These plates act like a valve: during downward motion the plates open to let water pass through; during upward motion they close and dampen the movements. The surface area and design of the anti-roll system reduce side-to-side movement.

Usage recommendations

• Only used when stationary at anchor or in port — never while underway.
• Placement can be at bow, stern or side depending on wave direction and desired effect.
• Refer to the manufacturer's weight/units table to determine how many stabilizers your boat requires; suitable for boats up to approx. 25 tons depending on number of units.

Limitations & safety

• Not recommended in very rough seas or extremely high waves (risk of overloading cleats or railing supports).
• Less effective if placed too close to the hull.
• May contact underwater obstacles (seagrass, wreckage, tidal currents).
• When deployed at the bow it may interfere with the anchor chain.

Maintenance & storage

• Rinse with fresh water after use to avoid salt deposits.
• Check for damage or corrosion regularly, especially on connecting elements, loops and screws.
• Only pack into the storage bag when completely dry to prevent moisture damage.
